CLIMATE CONVERSATIONS
Dr. Camellia Moses Okpodu, former Dean of the College and Arts and Sciences (University of Wyoming), has dedicated her life to educating others on Climate Change and the impact it has to the Diaspora. Her annual conference entitled "Climate Conversations" attracts hundreds of concerned academics and citizens who are seeking for innovative ways to create a change.
The Challenge
With a limited budget and limited time, Dr. Okpodu needed to have a cost-effective way to collect registrations for her upcoming conference.
What We Did
We created a one page website that effectively shared the mission and theme of the conference, the agenda, the speaker line-up and a registration form. We also created a follow-up email campaign to ensure that registrants added the event automatically to their calendars and were reminded the day before of the importance of attending.
What We Achieved
The event was a success and the one-page website has now become a template for all future conferences.
